- Work was easy - Younger employees were typically motivated and easy to talk to

- Hospital does not like to promote from within - Gradual raises are small - Many employees make it obvious that are only working here for the salary - Poor morale largely due to lack of job security

Good benefits as vision and dental are non employee contributed.

Cons

The leadership in more than one department of the University is not great. I have worked in 3 different departments here and also heard from other departments of the poor and lack of leadership. The pay is lower than the rest of the industry. People leave UCI to make more money.
