No ability by Management to absorb anything except positive, glowing feedback
Pros
1. Established market presence in its space 2. Strong cashflow from maintenance revenue on installed products 3. Good intentions, generally
Cons
1. Under pressure from both ends of the market - smaller, faster competitors moving up, and large ERP vendors defending their turf. Kronos must change, but doesn't seem to know how, or have the motivation to do so. 2. Established cultures are monolithic and frozen, and at times, highly irrational. 3. Best talent is starting to leave at a faster rate, in a generally improving economy 4. Tendency to "nickel-and-dime" instead of invest bravely and with vision 5. MANAGEMENT ABOVE DIRECTOR LEVEL DOES NOT ABSORB CRITICISM of any type. They only want to hear "everything is wonderful!!" Then, when results disappoint, they look for scapegoats. Truth-telling, experienced people who understand the problems and have ideas about how to fix them are actually *punished* for giving "bad news" by being labeled as "negative", "cynical" or "unmotivated".
