Pros

Set your own hours, no one will make you work

Cons

There is no real incentive to work in some of the divisions. If your managers are feeling stingy, they can choose to keep you at the lowest level for as long as they want.

Pros

The IOL is built to train its student employees in both technical and non-technical skills sought after by employers. For those student-employees willing and eager to learn, it is easy to find ways to work up to more rewarding roles and develop relationships with managers who will be essential mentors and references.

Cons

Pay is not as competitive as other internship opportunities may be for some students.
