Pros

Promotes within, good benefits and bonuses. Great place to follow education, Ups will pay for supervisors college classes. Good training process

Cons

Stressful, long hours espically cutting the holiday season. Under appreciated on the supply chain side. Dealing with union employees who hide behind the union.

Pros

Lots of great people to work with, from co-workers in FT management to the hourly employees. Received 3-4% raises every year, pay was good for the job. For the most part everyone is on board with getting results by doing the right thing. Company takes a hard line on anyone who does not follow this.

Cons

Missing holidays and special events with family due to working. Wasn't happy with their career development process- they pick some to move ahead and leave others in the same job for years.

Pros

Competitive pay for FT management. Almost always promote from within so plenty of room for advancement. Great benefits and tuition assistance. Stock bonuses and employee discounted stock purchases. 401k and pension plans.

Cons

High stress environment. Long hours especially during peak season (November/December). PT employees can be difficult to motivate. High turnover rate for hourly employees.
