Pros

Pay was okay, benefits were decent. Had 3 weeks of vacation, had to be taken a week at a time. 5 days of that were allowed to be floater days. 401K match was 3.5%. It was decent experience.

Cons

You live to work, worked 70-95 hours per week at some point of the year, as much as 1/4 of the year like that. Averaged 55-60 hours. Management is very old school, and work life balance is nearly nonexistant. No room for growth, to get promoted unless you want to go to management. I had a division manager scream at me and somehow that was okay. I'm a pretty laid back but hard working person, and this company made me second guess if I was cut out for this type of work. Looking back on it, the culture and work life was just mediocre.

Pros

Competitive compensation Global scope and scale Impressive legacy

Cons

There is a limited opportunity for advancement in the midst of management layoffs and offshoring. Negative revenue growth is driving aggressive cost cutting. Management layoffs are occurring over MSFT Teams meetings - severance packages are limited. Potential work stoppage by Teamsters will result in accelerated layoffs.

Pros

- Good entry level job - You don't need an A+ (they don't verify it) - If you're good, you can do the job from any office, even your home, but your boss doesn't like that. - They can pay upto $32/hr if you're good at what you do and I mean truly good.

Cons

Hours are not conductive to having a social life, the toilets are gross, the place is filthy all the time - literally had all the big wigs in a new building and not one of them bought soap to wash their hands. management expects you to wear nice pants in summer while climbing over dusty belts and greasy rails, management also won't hire you if you have any physical or mental setbacks that they become aware of during your trial period, your trial period is a year, you do need a car, Management believes you must be onsite for a computer not working properly. The IT call center that is suppose to help with the easy stuff, can't do their job so you technically have more work than you should.
