Pros

Flexible work schedule, good pay, and benefits. Depending upon responsibilities there are opportunities for teleworking and a child care center that is subsidized next to the headquarters building.

Cons

Senior leadership too interested in addressing polictical agendas. Need too focus more on workforce development whcih is currently more of a slogan rather than a core principle.

Pros

Promotion potential is high, great benefit package, opportunities to travel around the world, many training opportunities available, will help pay for a masters degree, high job stability, one of the best retirement programs available.

Cons

A very big agency that takes time to understand all aspects of its business. Most jobs at DLA require a security clearance, which could be a problem for some people.
