      Lots of policies, but great with training and freedom to complete mission.

      Pros

      Can select technology that best fits solution. Also flex time work hours and teleworking. If you are half-way competent, you will look like a rock star.

      Cons

      Some offices have pre-disposition towards technology solutions without there being a need. Often resources are wasted for political reasons. Employee workforce seems hyper-focused on retirement, not on getting mission accomplished.

      Pros

      Great teamwork environment, strong support for learning and development from management, and the ability to be flexible with work schedules and locations.

      Cons

      In the IT field when working with any DoD component you are going to find that everything you can and would do in the civilian world, is somehow hampered, but this is just part of the game.
