Pros

Good bonus, company car, business casual dress, all up to date technology and equipment one would need, beautiful corporate campus.

Cons

Everything else. This place is a cult and their claims center is run like a call center. Employees are quick to throw one another under the bus to win favor with management. Micro-management in full effect. Just the overall culture weird and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Pros

Good benefits, matching 401k (fully vested after 5 years), free parking, on site cafeteria, fair pay

Cons

Micromanagement by your manager, constant physical and electronic surveillance of your computer activity by your manager, weekly constant negative "reviews" of phone calls, monitored time away from phone for lunch, breaks & restroom breaks. Constant sell, sell, sell mentality must be used on every member's incoming call, attempting to sign them up for another USAA product or service. During my over three years of employment at USAA, I had a total of four managers, each with their own management style and set of expectations. One was harassing and verbally abusive and even threatened me of sabotaging my computer when the hard drive was failing and I kept experiencing technical problems and had to call the IT Support area for help. Eventually, my computer was replaced with a new one.

Pros

Great benefits and they have a Chik fil a in Café H plus Starbucks. Nice campus as well.

Cons

Call center... Micromanagement... Strictly on the phone ALL day except for two 20 minute breaks and a 35 min lunch break which you must adhere to the time perfectly otherwise you'll hear from you manager who basically doesn't do anything all day.. just micromanages you... plus you'll dread coaching which is once a week where you listen to a call and your manager just talks to you and makes up stuff for 30 minutes.. waste of time. No room for growth. The calls... the calls are back to back... and you deal with rude members 70% of the time (and some rude coworkers who will transfer calls to you).
