Pros

401k contribution, ability to purchase extra PTO, paid training/licensing/continued education

Cons

Knee jerk decisions from leadership that are not beneficial to both adjusters and members, only benefit their bottom line.

Pros

Benefits - if you have children or work in a DIFFERENT department

Cons

- Management - ended up with 3 managers while there - only 1 was good. The micro-management is horrendous. If you have a free-thinking brain and want to do well - THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. - Got questioned for going to the restroom - Super stressful/toxic work environment - You get yelled at on 90-95% of the calls - The workload was beyond unmanageable - you have a list of 300 total losses and no time to call them or call out - ALL inbound calls - WORST JOB I HAVE EVER HAD

Pros

My current manager is a REAL kind and considerate human being. The rest of them, not so much.

Cons

Whenever your permanent manager takes PTO, you are forced to deal with condescending, catty, I'm special you're not types. The claims department has a terrible turnover problem and after having been here a while now, you can understand why, They stick you in an open phones environment for the majority of your day similar to a foriegn call center. They needle you about it constantly. You have to deal with a multitude of complaining whiners that you had nothing to with before their call. They attempt to pit employees against each other by creating bogus contests to force you to spin on a faster hamster wheel. None of the workers could really care less about these fake competitions. Their only real concern is a steady paycheck. Were it not for my current manager, I would have left this place long ago. If you're thinking of working here, keep looking.
