Pros

PTO, education benefits, comfy chairs, on-site gym and Starbucks

Cons

New Member Solutions is the absolute worst career move I made ever. I originally started in Policy Services, which was ok. I was promised a better schedule, non-micromanaged position, was told this is not really a sales deptartment (which is why there’s no commission for new sales), and a bunch of other lies. THIS IS SALES. Everything revolves around numbers and metrics. Required to sell banking products to people who clearly don’t need them. Once you get into New Member Solutions, your career is dead. You can try to move up if you want to spend 10 years on the phones pushing people to buy stuff they don’t need.

Pros

Pay and benefits are great and its rewarding serving military members.

Cons

Good luck trying to advance or even change departments. I had to leave because it was impossible to change to a department that allowed me to work from home. I needed to move to be near my sick mother.
