Pros

Good benefits, great training, proud company culture, decent beginning pay, excellent facilities, great 401k plan, promotion opportunity, bonuses

Cons

Work/life balance is very hard. Very micromanaged. Push way too hard for referrals. Workload is unmanageable without working overtime. No time off phones to complete assigned work. Although training is extensive it in no way prepares you for the stress and overall unpleasantness of the job.

Pros

very professional process/ I felt that the company was truly looking to find the right employees for the positions. USAA does a complete background check before making an offer to a potential offer.

Cons

cannot be interviewed for more than one position, which was disappointing. They required you to drug test and do a complete background check before being able to proceed to the one on one interview.

Pros

Benefits, on site gyms on site health clinic , Etc

Cons

No real opportunity to grow typically 1 job opening per job posting. Lacking in managment. Managers 90% have favoritism within the team they manage allowing some colleagues to be absent and not having consequences and in the other hand another colleague who might not be the managers favorite has a call in and automatically gets put on a verbal or corrective action. High volume of calls and not enough capacity to cover calls back to back calls where the member is irate or upset at a usaa policy you can't change. Expect to be on the phone 90% of the day and if you don't meet there adherence standards of 90% or more you will be put in a performance improvement plan , also strong on referrals certain number you have to meet or offers you have to provide the members per day. Very stressful job !
