      Pros

      Great physical work environment (building,grounds,cafes,exercise facilities) and top notch co-workers. Good pay and excellent benefits package.

      Cons

      Too many layers of middle management resulting in breakdown of communication and inconsistent practices.Unnecessary micro management of professionals. Excessive and unrealistic combination of performance metrics.

      Pros

      usaa is stable company that offers insurance and banking/investment products to military members and their families.

      Cons

      In order to move up or get decent raises..you've got to be a supreme ass kisser and a snitch and a quintessential suck up. Otherwise you get 1 - 2% pay raises....and they act like they're doing you such a great favor! They demand you move all of your banking and insurance accounts to USAA....no option...either you do it or you're fired. They set the bar so high to get the year end bonus that only about half of the employees actually get a bonus....and they make it more difficult each year to qualify for the bonus.

      Pros

      People are friendly, members are the best in the world. Salary is above-average for the insurance industry

      Cons

      Constantly, chronically over-worked. This is NOT an exaggeration - aside from two 20 minute breaks and a 35 minute lunch, there wasn't a single free second in your day.
