Pros

The employees are great, all of them are dissatisfied with their jobs but are nice people. USCB puts on a good show. They will make you think that everyone is happy and imply an awesome work environment - THIS DOES NOT EXIST.

Cons

Pretty much everything. Was hired as a collector but job turned out to be Customer Service. I was mislead as to what the position was and only realized what I was facing once I was already on the job. I was transferred to a different department/client 4 times in 3 years which severely limited my chance to gain seniority. Management is so out of touch. They have no idea what the day-to-day job struggle is like. Pay is low, benefits cost a lot, they stopped the 401(k) match so that no longer exists, are constantly losing contracts and therefor regularly lay off large numbers of people. Leaving everyone scrambling to keep their job. They are production driven although there is rarely a consequence for not meeting production goals. You will be given 100 warnings before you're let go. There is also no motivation to succeed. No appreciation for employees who DO meet standards. No pay increases, not even on merit. I had to threaten to quit and escalate to executive management in order to get a $1.00/hour raise after 3 YEARS! No room for advancement. There are 3 levels of management (lead, supervisor, manager). In my department, the lead had been in that position for 10 years. Unless he were to quit, I would have no room to advance to management. Why would I continue to bust my hump, to make the company money, when I'm not going to benefit in any way? Get a clue.

Pros

Fairly stress free work enviornment for the most part.

Cons

They put people out of position and its kind of a negative work enviornment. The training isnt very good and they focus on everything you do that is negative. You could absolutely dominate and yet get criticized and written up repeatedly, even for questionable stuff.

Pros

Good schedule, get to work remote.

Cons

Too much micro-managing and more than 1 supervisor.
