Pros

Employees are dedicated and push boundaries - great culture of work/life balance and family-first thinking.

Cons

The management team is completely disconnected with all sorts of weird power plays happening on the 18th floor which unfortunately translates to annual lay-offs, the loss of some amazing and smart people and budget cuts that make it nearly impossible to maintain a competitive advantage. Employees are paranoid to spend money or say the wrong thing for fear of their job/reputation. Consistently cutting marketing and sales spending which makes it harder and harder to compete when frankly our competition is investing. Outdated and legacy technology platforms that are hobbled together makes it hard to do the most basic jobs - like customer service - I think we are still on green screens! We launch new products, build momentum and then don't invest in the plants so we can't manufacture the product. Definitely don't put the customer first.

Pros

Past history of leadership and employee retention. Strong brand strength was created thru commitment and long term focus.

Cons

Current management now uses the company as their own personal piggy bank. Unfortunately the organization has forgotten what made them an industry leader.

Pros

Good pay, benefits are good and do not cost a lot. You will advance fairly quickly if you catch on fast.

Cons

Safety is drilled into your head so much that it makes people complacent. While obvious safety issues get a blind eye turned to them in the name of production. Equipment is run into the ground and not designed for the speed It is being pushed, makes for a stressful work environment. People that have the right last name or are related the the right person get away with multiple safety violations before being finally let go. Seems to be a disconnect between upper management and what us really going on.
