Pros

None. It’s cold calling people that do not want to speak with you.

Cons

The job is Commission only and you have to pay $500 to get a license to sell health insurance over the phone to people that do not want to speak to you.

Obviously, trust is vitally important to us...as individuals and as a company. We would never condone any type of deception...at any time. I want to look into this matter further, if you'll reach out to me with additional details. Bill.shelton@ushadvisors.com. Thank you.

Better be strong at sales

Pros

Good work environment and a good compensation package, the team members are always willing to help you as much as they can without interfering with their own business.

Cons

If you don't have at least 6 months of liquid assets to support yourself till you start making a consistent income you will not survive in this business. Also, they will tell you that you will be out in the field trying to solicit sales, but they will really try and push you to make a bunch of cold calls all day.

Shady Business

Business Outlook

Pros

The lure of working for yourself and helping others.

Cons

Non supportive team in the Glendale office. Cut-throat, igo-manics and it's all about the money. The training is insufficient and there is no one to go to. You are left on your on to figure things out. They give you three months to bring in business. If not, you are given the boot and part ways with the company. What's that about. Bad news if you invested a lot of money to get up and running. Some of the agents talk nasty about one another behind their backs. They also talk very inappropriately about the Affordable Healthcare and Obama. Some agents have shared their thoughts with the clients. They even say these things when on the phone with clients.
