      Pros

      During the short duration of open enrollment (November-December), the potential money can be pretty good. For those (leads) who qualify, the coverage is significantly better and at a better price when compared to OBAMA Care.

      Cons

      You will need to spend roughly $400-$500 of your own money to get the ball rolling. Everyone in the office stated that nearly half their yearly income is made during open enrollment, so be prepared for longer dry spells of not making much money. Due to the fact that the insurance offered through US Health is exclusive, be prepared for a significant portion of those leads who actually want the coverage to not qualify for it. Leads are only marginally better than cold-calling.

We certainly appreciate your perspective about our products, as well as your thoughts about investing in yourself to "get the ball rolling". While it is certainly not required for someone to invest into their business, statistics and our own experience tell us that doing so will certainly help accelerate one's success. As for dry spells in sales...our experience shows that one's willingness to work hard at any time of year seems to be more of a predictor than say...a specific time of year. As a result, the realistic amount of money one can expect to make in our business, also ties to their willingness to put forth the effort to be successful. We appreciate the time you spent with us and we wish you much success for your future.

      Pros

      Without a doubt there, the employees are great people, but the management is very dishonest in their dealings.

      Cons

      I can't speak for the other locations, but without a doubt the office in Fort Myers, FL is very unethical and not trustworthy. There is no position as Customer Service Adviser or Customer Service Manager. That is a come-on to get you in to sell you into the idea of selling insurance. Nothing more or less. The high salary is non-existing as you buy leads. If they would just be up front, they would be more successful.

I noted that a number of statements you made...indicate that you may not have fully understood the position for which you were interviewing. Yes, perhaps the advertisement headings might have thrown you off. They are intended to help us locate people who have the necessary skills to succeed with us...and yes...Customer Service Advisors and/or Managers...possess many of those skills. You mention the lack of a high salary. I should probably point out...that no salary was offered. The opportunity you interviewed for is that of an independent contractor...for sales. There is no requirement for you to purchase leads...however, I would certainly recommend it...in order to grow your business. I completely agree with you...that honesty is the best policy.       If you have a financial cushion this is a great opportunity to make money.

      If you don't have a financial cushion this you will struggle to make money depending on which division you work for.
