Pros

Very chill lab, great coworkers

Cons

Pay was very low compared to other labs in the area. The labs volume was very low in comparison to the amount of lab workers we had. Resulting in very long boring days of just trying to find something to do. If you like to get paid for nothing this job is for you.

Pros

I appreciate the benefits and the hybrid schedule. I would say the pay, but my responsibilities keep growing, causing my hourly pay to decrease over the last two years significantly. How am I rewarded for taking on extra duties? A 2% merit increase.

Cons

Demeaning faculty supervisors; overworked & undervalued staff; lack of department-specific written procedures and training; too much gatekeeping; and a clear lack of communication and any written procedures.
