Pros

Love working for UT Physicians! Best job I have ever had in 20+ yrs in healthcare. Benefits are awesome. We get medical, dental, vision, PTO and sick time, pension plan, and a while bunch of other benefits. Hours are good and reliable. Not a lot of OT. My manager is amazing, can not say enough good things about my manager. Just an overall great job. Oh, raises are yearly and not to shabby. I always get 3%-4% raises.

Cons

The only real complaint I have is the pay itself. I wish it was a little higher. Cost of living is sky high and even with 3% raises it not enough sometimes to make ends meet. I am not sure the higher really know how hard the struggle is. I think salary could be a little higher especially since some of us have 20+ years experience.

Pros

Good benefits, flexible work schedule.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive with current market rates for comparable roles. There is a general lack of formal recognition for high performance and successful project completion. Limited opportunities for internal growth and upward mobility, even for employees who complete advanced professional certifications and demonstrate high performance on projects. Training and professional development resources appear to be disproportionately offered, which raises concerns about equitable distribution among staff. The workplace culture is unfortunately described by employees as toxic.
