Working and gaining knowlesge in latest beauty trends. Discount is fair.

Cons

Cut cut cut! Companies motto is to cut hours! However they still want you to maintain a prestige person a cashier and a GEM on the floor at all times. They also expect you to balance the wee little amount of hours they give with shipment and ad set and plano changes and replenishment and cleaning and on and on. The company sets you up to fail. They plan you too high on sales and when that doesn't happen....guess what...more cuts! Managers are glorified cashiers and can't complete their jobs. Then the DM want explinations daily as to why we get negative scoring online...possibly because we don't have any hours available to actually help these people, and a lot if times stuck on register alone with a line of 10 people staring at you.

Good discount on product and services, fun customer base, lots of education opportunities, good gratis.

Cons

The company doesn't value its employees. You aren't appreciated for the work you do. Because of this, there is a high turnover rate. They don't pay fairly or consistently. They expect you to go above and beyond without compensation, I have even been expected to take a promotion and much higher level of responsibility without a pay raise. Their training program is terrible. You are just thrown into your position and expected to succeed without the tools for success and then get reprimanded if you don't do perfectly. Very high stress.

gratis, employee discount, salon discount, interacting with people, decent pay, making friends, fun atmosphere for certain events and holidays

Cons

highest turnover ive ever witnessed, working weekends and long hours, ridiculous dress code, impossible to get time off, get in so much trouble if you're late or call out sick (the one and only time i tried to call out sick i was told that i had to come in anyway... is that even legal?), shortest breaks ever if you even get one (also illegal?), discrimination, ZERO work/life balance, the list goes on and on... don't work here
