Pros

Management receives: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, FSA, 401k, vacation, sick days, paid holidays. Mediocre retail discount. 25% retail 50% salon. Steady hours. Retail receives: HA!

Cons

-You are expected to keep your department "clinical clean" yet you have NO payroll of support employees. -Relentless number of tasks, no time to PROPERLY service customers. -You are a cashier at least 4 hours a shift due to payroll cuts. -NO RECOGNITION FOR EXCEEDING YOUR SALES GOALS! -Ridiculous "bonus" program, I provide over $1 million in sales revenue and bonus $2500 a YEAR? -Sr management comes into store once a month, if that, and berates you on everything that is WRONG and NEVER acknowledges the RIGHT. -Corporate is so out of touch with store level operations its SCARY. -Pointless weekly conference calls about petty "in store events" that do NOTHING to entice customers, simply to increase revenue. -As a Prestige manager you are considered a manager yet you have no say so in ANYTHING including the hiring/firing of your own department employees. -Want a promotion? Thats comical! They do not promote from within, external hires, promised interviews for promotions yet never happens. Honestly 2 years ago when I started with this company I could honestly say I was happy. After countless hours, demanding work, obscene "goals," no support, and constant harassment about NPS (What a joke! Customers DO NOT comment on good on bad), Allure and Glamour subscriptions, and "clinical clean" environment has left me disheartened, overworked, unappreciated and unhappy.

Pros

Growing company, good people to work with, competitive salary

Cons

Relentless pace, company pushes and pushes to the point of burning people out. Provides very little training for IT staff.

Pros

All the coworkers are friendly and nice. Its like a family working there Task team dosen't have to deal too much with customers since duties are done before and after store hours Occasional gratis Very good at advancement within the company. All the managers started out in lower positions.

Cons

You dont get alot of hours. Your lucky to get 10 hours a week and thats a good week if you don't get a lot of shipment you just end up with 4 or 5 . The job decription says your supposed to be trained to know cashier duties (which is mainly why I applied since the cashier positions were filled) none of us have been trained at all. This is a nice second job, but not a place you wanna work for your only job. I quit my previous job thinking I was gonna get hours and I had a rude awakenig I went from making over 800 dollars a month working 25-30 hours a week to making 100-150 bucks a month. It really caused a lot of problems for me. So if you work here make sure you have a second job.
