Could be a good place for new careers, but they underpay until they force you to leave.

Willing to teach, flexible to some degree with alternative working conditions (I.e. Working from home).

Cons

Poor management, extremely difficult to move up or adjust pay, under appreciation of hardworking employees, showed preference to certain enployees based on social status with upper management, lack of opportunities to learn new technologies or advance expertise past a certain point.

Dear Analyst - I'm sorry to hear you that your experience at UMA did not meet your expectations. Clearly you and your manager did not see eye-to-eye on a number of things and it is a shame we were unable to amicably reach a positive outcome. UMA works hard to ensure all staff members feel appreciated – through an integrated package of compensation, benefits and recognition; and to provide staff with a platform and open door to share any and all concerns. There are some very nice people who work here - they help to get you through the frustrations.

Cons

Management belittles employees - you are treated like a child who knows nothing. You are talked "down to" and expected to just say nothing. It is a verbally abusive environment. It has become a classic CALL CENTER - burn em and churn em environment. Turnover is ENORMOUS! If you are here 6 months - you are a "veteran". It's all about the numbers and that is it! I've never worked anywhere where I have felt like I could be fired at any time! It is not a very settling feeling.... There are scheduled mandatory lunch break times and break times - must be strictly adhered to. Be prepared to be treated like a child and do exactly as told - even in regards to having to wear sports clothes on certain days and other goofing required dress activities.
