Pros

A paycheck, remote work, gross incompetence is the bar to achieve.

Cons

This company is a con. They oversell their ability to do what they are contracted to do, to companies that have no idea that the Ultranauts is exploiting people with disabilities. They lie to clients, treat employees with disabilities as disposable, and also, most recently lie to public officials. If you are considering applying to this organization, know that you will be gaslit, have promotions dangled in front of your face that will never happen, will be treated like you know absolutely nothing even in areas where you have demonstrable expertise. If you are considering being a client, just know that the vast majority of their team is doing little more than running Large Language Models in the background and Googling responses on the side. There is nothing noteworthy nor worth paying tens of thousands of dollars for.. You will be conned.

Pros

Opportunity to work with reputable clients. Sometimes interesting projects

Cons

The market for IT services is down right now and job security is not guaranteed. Company does not do a good job disciplining middle managers and so we just have to keep quiet or they will make our lives difficult.

Pros

* Honestly tries to be one of the most inclusive companies for which to work. * Very reasonable and flexible in terms of working conditions. * Has a noble mission in trying to increase neurodiversity in the workplace, both in terms of their own operations, and their outreach to other companies in the industry. * Listens to employee feedback and tries to implement some of it where possible.

Cons

* Has been struggling recently, having recently had three rounds of layoffs in the last year and a half, along with an additional shadow round of layoffs (converting several salaried people to hourly) that's coming up shortly. This has been accompanied by raises and promotions being frozen for a similar length of time. * I've heard horror stories from other colleagues belonging to certain demographic groups of poor treatment by managers and other colleagues. * Is sometimes slow and/or resistant to acknowledging the validity of employee feedback, despite constantly asking for it in surveys and other forums.
