Pros

This is a great place to work. Fun clients, challenging work and smart employees. There are no other places I have ever worked where you get to do so much and have so much trust from management.

Cons

Clients dictate what is worked on and cause a lot of fire drills. It seems unavoidable but can make for lots of stress. Also some weak performing employees have been dragging the company down and while some have been recently leaving (or asked to leave), some are still hanging around making it harder on everyone else

Pros

Great group of people outside of management. The team is passionate about their work and helping build great solutions for their clients even though they are continually beaten down.

Cons

Lack of vision and professionalism. Personal relationships bleed into the day-to-day and cause inappropriate dynamics in the work place. If you are looking to grow professionally, this is not the place.

A Culture of (Negative) Feedback

Pros

There are really some great people that work here. Very smart, kind, fun to be around. And the work (at times) was exciting. We were able to push limits and do new things that felt bold and refreshing. And because of the startup nature of the company, you've got lots of opportunities to take on new challenges/responsibilities.

Cons

To keep this short, in summary, the environment/culture is stressed out, freaked out, and negative. It's not uncommon to see people crying, hear someone yelling at someone else, or to see someone quit out of the blue (without another job). The leadership is unequally balanced, and bad habits at the top are transmitted down through the rest of the company. The company is strangely homogenous and you can really only survive/thrive there if you are willing to be burned down and rebuilt as they would have you. It's rare that you see anyone over the age of 40 working there, for very long anyway. What seems so fun and exciting from the outside, is really a pervasively negative atmosphere (a culture of feedback, to be specific) where people feel like they cannot do anything right.
