Thank you for sharing your feedback. We continuously strive to create a great employee experience by encouraging a transparent culture. Like most hi-growth companies, communication and messaging are areas of constant focus, as we recognize that ongoing communication and cohesiveness across all teams, including Operations, is critical to success, in addition to pro-actively addressing employee concerns. The Company has an ‘Open Door’ Policy, meaning that every manager's door is open to every employee. The purpose is to encourage open communication, feedback, and discussion about any matter of importance to an employee. As a current employee, you are encouraged to contact your manager, your manager’s manager, HR, or any member of management to discuss specific concerns. Thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

Nice old building. Owners provide free food. Some decent and friendly people work there. There are a couple cats that are fun.

Cons

Benefits are terrible. Owner doesn't understand the concept of salary and will doc pay even though some weeks you work well over 40 hours. Sales training at the franchise level is an unorganized mess. Owner tries to blame the person for not being a self-starter but she is clueless and not professional. The owner's big motivator is to constantly threaten to fire people. The owner talks to the staff like they are little children and thinks she is better than everyone else. Nepotism is a common practice and staff is must deal with owner's children who text during meetings and whistle in the middle of meetings. Yes, just rudely starts whistling during a meeting! The owners act like they are big time when in the grand scheme of things the company is a tiny fish in a small pond and the opportunities are no where near as great as they sell them in the interview.

Pros

-good experience/ resume builder for a first "real world" job out of college -fun/ young reps to work with that become friends -decent pay for an entry-level job with decent commission potential if successful

Cons

-the turnover rate is extremely high. There were probably 12-14 reps that either left or got let go during my 9 months there because it wasn’t a good fit. Everyone I knew there moved on from the company. -the management was terrible, hardly gave any training. Very immature and cocky. They just expect you to know everything and don’t actually want to take the time to train anyone cause they will probably leave in 3 months anyway. -they are franchise based so essentially you are just working for a small company that does whatever they want. They don’t treat you as well as a corporate company and don’t invest anything into their employees. -there’s no where to really move up other than the initial sales position. They make it out to seem like you can open your own franchise and you’ll be so successful and that’s only if you’re dedicated to cold calling the rest of your life -tons of rejection on the phone and unrealistic expectations for sales goals + managers will yell at you and harass you if aren’t hitting your numbers which becomes really stressful because the job itself is mentally draining. I remember being so excited to get my first account and all my manager said was “k where’s the next one.” -super competitive industry. There are hundreds and hundreds of other 3PLs that can offer the same discounts and have the same carriers so it becomes hard to convince a business owner over the phone why they should switch over their shipping services -no work life balance. They expect you to come in every morning with leads so you end up working after you leave the office. Hardly any PTO/sick leave.
