Pros
The airline industry is a fascinating industry. Volatile, but very interesting. Other reasons include Flight benefits, technologically advanced, good place to cut your teeth, very fast paced, deadline driven environment. The people are nice and you get to work with people from all over the world.
Cons
employee recognition is not very good, pressure, stressful at times, not well organized. There's layoffs every couple of years. Always a sense of insecurity in the air, which makes employees withold information from colleagues at times. People can be territorial. There isn't much money for training, so things are learned via baptism by fire.
