Pros

401K plan, Good view out the window.

Cons

Lousey management, terrible customer relations, Safety is not job #1. We do not have a policy of Operate as a part 121 carrier and I have your family onboard. UAL philosophy is, I can get away with it because the flow chart says we meet an MEL code.

Pros

It is close to my house. Commute time is less that 15 min.

Cons

Inconsistant job security, just when you think the company is stable, Senior management uses furloughs to fix money maters. Senior Level Management are being compensated even though working level employees are being furloughed. Change the structure of the business practices. Employee reduction is the only answer. Company is mgmt top heavy and they are not held accountable at the corporate level. Cut more at the top.

Pros

Pass travel is a good perk although it is harder to fly now with high load factors and fewer planes. There are great people working here, and we still run a safe airline despite the bad management.

Cons

The complete lack of honor, fairness and leadership from the senior management. No meaningful communication from our "leaders", who seem determined to squeeze out every dollar into their own pockets.
