Great if you really want residential experience

Pros

I enjoy working at UMFS. There are opportunities for advancement and its not a bad job to work while in school. I also enjoy the therapeutic model. You will get a lot of experience with difficult youth behaviors.

Cons

There are definitely some catty staff there, mainly located in one cottage though. You will quickly figure out which one that is and best advice is to stay away. The gossip here is crazy, so be careful what you say. You will also work with some people who are lazy and do the bare minimum. Also sometimes you have kids who are slightly dangerous.
