Pros

Good benefits: medical, dental and perks.

Cons

This company is truly a "House Divided" Aerial Managers and reps are treated like Gods while harding working General Rental Managers and Reps are treated like dirt. Time and time again General Rental reps achieve higher rental rates and have a much broader customer base and they are still referred to as second class employees. It truly amazed me how much money I made for that company year in and year out (bonus for 2006, 2007, 2008) and to be blown out in Q1 2009!!! This company rewards those who have lost them money instead of those who have made them money!!! I find it hilarious almost a year later to see how much worse it has gotten here in Detroit! As of this date, the Aerial division, which previously LOST MILLIONS for UR in Michigan, is now in charge! Talk about rewarding incompetency! UR is not a good place to work unless you have been buddies with upper management for many years. You reap what you sew. Potential employees beware!

Pros

In the early years we did what it took to take care of the customers. The benefits are good and the people I work with make it a company I used to be proud to work for. Until recently I loved my job.

Cons

Upper management does not care about you. I was told that my position was eliminated and that for my new position I needed to take a 30% pay cut. I was notified on a Wednesday that it was in effect as of last Monday. How about that for communication from management. This company is going downhill on a daily basis and will not stop until they do something about the moral of the employees answering the phones.
