Pros

Good benefits. Basically that’s all that’s left since the acquisition.

Cons

Management doesn’t care about your work life balance. You aren’t paid fairly for the amount of work you do. Poor hiring decisions have led to an exodus of employees. Power hungry upper management treats others like personal servants.

Pros

I came from the PEG organization. Pay was very good. There was plenty of work to be done and you were allowed to get involved in most of that work. The feeling in the company was one of organic growth and solid leadership. The merger with Tower Cloud only made things better. The people from Tower Cloud and their influence seemed to "grease the skids" in terms of processes.

Cons

With Uniti's acquisition of Southern Light, the direction/feeling within this organization shifted. The company became more intently focused on "reducing costs" by eliminating 85 employees out of 259. This action left the displaced (and many folks that remain) with a negative feeling about the organization. Everybody understands the desire to "reward the shareholder" with return on investment; by creating a lean company without duplicate responsibilities. This company has become a company that "looks like a good investment" on the stock exchange.
