Pros

The work is genuinely interesting and technically challenging. There are strong people here, and when you take initiative, you can get exposure to meaningful problems and influence beyond your immediate team.

Cons

Role scope and ownership can be unclear, especially for cross-team initiatives. Priorities can shift significantly, and it is not always obvious what success looks like or who has the authority to drive a decision. Recognition and title alignment can also lag behind the actual level of responsibility, which makes growth feel less predictable.

Pros

I applied and became one of candidates in APAC. Unity recruiting team always supported me as the candidate kindly from the HR expert around the world. There is no time rug and no misunderstanding thanks to them.

Cons

I feel obviously that the Industry business is growing up rapidly and expanding the space of sales now. However the Unity is the major company in the consumer business, such as game developer. Then I feel that it is hard to research the organization whole of the structure of Unity. Where is head office, back office or R&D around the world. Of course, I have enough time to research it and can understand it. However it's helpful for us to know it quick throughout one shot searching.

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
