Pros

Everything!! The benefits are amazing, the higher managment listens to employees. I worked for home health and could not have asked for a better team enviroment. If you are patient orientated and love to take care of people than this is the best place to work. They give their nurses the equipment and personal support needed to provide the best enviroment and patient outcome. If someone does not like working here than they are out of their mind. I have worked for different home care companies and IHHC is by far the BEST!!!!!

Cons

Sometimes nurses were asked to see more patients than possible in one day. But other days were slower so it all evened out.

Pros

Some awesome staff at the affiliate hospitals who care and teach others.

Cons

New leaders: You focus on politics, not a fiscally responsible, patient focused system (despite your tag line). It's better to keep your head down than to challenge process or people. Stop letting good people go. Learn to work with talent instead of people who just want to be liked.

Pros

Large number of professionals helps keep the opportunities and the compensation fare and balanced. The size of the system in the state helps make it attractive in both opportunities and in sharing of informaiton. The benefits are good and I do enjoy the option to use Aramark Star Service. It's a concierge service to do work for you in finding information. I like to use it when I don't have time to find travel arrangements or track down particular information. The way the hospitals in Des Moines are separated also helps make it feel more family like than if the entire Des Moines group were tried to be managed as one.

Cons

The size of the system creates significant barriers to growth on occasion.
