Every third weekend and required holidays, Insurance is comprehensive but only a small number of providers covered, some conflicts in policies - COVID absences included in attendance points but other policy includes correctional action if you go to work with COVID symptoms

I was warned 15 years ago of the toxic culture towards men and I should have listened. I've been in healthcare for 30 years and have NEVER been subjected to such a hostile work environment if you don't fit in.

none really, except sometimes one of the higher-ups isn't the nicest apparently, but as evening/night shift I never saw them

Hostel work environment, management is terrible, have to have an in with management to move up.

Pay was very low, below market value as is unfortunately typical throughout healthcare fields in Iowa. Unity Point has made it clear that pay increases for nurses and staff will not be increased.
