Pros

They have education assistance and the pay is pretty good. Also there is, within the right department with the right people /manager supporting you.

Cons

Some managers are not very good. Sometimes when wanting to move to a different department it's difficult. Seems like they don't care or meet your needs as an employee. It's also very difficult to get on at Truman. You have to know people or get in contact with the right people to get an interview or to get on at Truman.

Pros

Truman Medical Centers has a strong cultural diversity within the company and the patient population. Medical benefits are good if using the Truman system for your services.

Cons

The biggest problem with Truman is a lack of appropriate staffing levels. There is also an inconsistency in provider availability. This causes many problems in coordination of patient care and staff satisfaction.

Pros

The diverse patient interactions, variety of actual visual contact, and differences in the workforce, being recognized by some of the physicians you schedule for and being told thanks goes a long way

Cons

the expectations for the pay, no recognition nor acknowledgement of the work that you do, their has been budget constraints that stopped anyone from getting raises more than twice, but just to know somehow your appreciated for coming to work and doing more than necessary at times
