Thank you for your review and we’re sorry to hear Uptake is the worst job you’ve ever had. On the other hand, we are glad to hear that you have positive feedback on your coworkers, compensation, and the potential of our product.
We appreciate your notes and advice to management - we always consider this kind of feedback very closely as this helps us shape the employee experience and our business from within.
There are considerable strides being made with regards to Diversity and Inclusion within the People Team, but as we all know these types of initiatives don’t happen overnight - it is a process we take seriously and are thoughtfully structuring for success in the near future.
With regards to over-hiring, we are currently only hiring for the open positions we have and do not hire for more than what the business needs.

We are disappointed to hear about your negative experience in this area as well as your feelings on lack of work-life balance. We are always trying to boost employee morale and engagement with events like our Wellness Week and regularly provide resources surrounding mental health and general well-being. Our re-power hour, unlimited PTO, and flexible working hours are specifically designed to give Uptakers the work-life balance they need to be successful in their personal and professional experiences.
