Pros

The people here are great. Everyone supports each other and get along well. For the most part it's a very positive environment.

Cons

UCCU would rather have a high employee turnover and continually be training new employees than pay a competitive salary. I feel like my manager values me and fights to get me raises but there is only so much she can do. I feel like I could make more working for almost any other mortgage company and am always keeping my eyes open for a better opportunity.

Pros

Adequate pay, interesting coworkers, good ethics and morality, great fiscal conservatism, great schedule.

Cons

Poor branch management, lack of interest in individual employees, rarely complimented on a job well done but often criticized for mistakes, complaints are taken very poorly and judgements are harshly distributed on hear-say.

Pros

Nice Culture, great work-like balance, lots of long-term employees (good sign), great benefits, stable employment, nice year end profit-sharing bonus for everyone in December, employee pension plan after first full year completion, small-knit small-town vibe you get all-around this place. Most people are really in this place for the long-haul. The people here were so nice.

Cons

Very "Ultra-conservative, old school" mentality here. (place was originally BYU credit union) The pay is low compared to other places which can really be tough. Days here can feel a little mundane and slow. The dress code is a little outdated and old fashioned. Its kinda churchy here, just be aware. Nice people, but if you're not LDS or a clean "non member" you'll feel out of place at times....also not much upward mobility so if you're looking to really advance in your career I'd suggest going to a corporate place to do that.
