Lots of drama - people seem to talk behind their backs. Definitely not the place to be if you are looking for a positive atmosphere.

Good benefits, salary (negotiate at first because 2%raises are the norm). Fellow employees are kind and easy to work with.

Cons

Management in the NY office does not makes decisions timely. There change focus and do not execute decisions. They should have a training program for employees who want to become adjusters.

Make my own schedule. I was hired with good pay. If you like a small office environment, Utica is your place of business.

Cons

Home office is trying to macro manage my old office. Do not have a manager to talk, listen or take your side. My supervisor and manager are in a different city. Hired young supervisor with little experience. No growth within the company. The company moved to new location too far. I received a 10 cent raise last year. The pay is excellent at first but raises will not. It will take you 10 years to yet one dollar to add to your hourly.
