Good mentorship in my hospital with high quality staff

Cons

VCA pretends that they care about the individual but they are just another large corporation that cares about bottom line more than the people it employs. I lasted 2 years and then had enough of feeling not valued or listened to.

I’ve been able to grow my skills and knowledge.

Cons

Very political with too much drama and favoritism for a professional work place. It’s impossible to fire staff, so the ones that have needed to go for years are still tolerated. Management is very passive aggressive and not direct with feedback. I never know what my hospital manager wants from me and I feel that I cannot trust her. Management continues to bad mouth employees to OTHER employees.
