      Work hard and it never truly pays off.

      Pros

      I have been able to work my way up. The pet care discounts are helpful. Manager is as high as you can truly go.

      Cons

      Low salary, live paycheck to paycheck. Expected to be available 24-7. Medical Directors get all the credit for a financially successful hospital. Bonuses are next to impossible. Healthcare is $100.00 bucks per paycheck per employee and Dependants. Barely surviving. No positive comments from RODs. No pats on the back or words of encouragement. Must be something besides the pet discounts keeping me here. The hope that this will pay off financially? Been saying that for 12+ years. New managers are hired in desperation and Burst into flames due to lack of training. Good job not utilizing your senior managers to train.

      Pros

      Position is easy to master and can become monotonous, but if you enjoy being busy at night, sometimes till 1 and 2 am, and understand that each emergency and client that comes in through the door is unique and presents a challenge then you will do fine.

      Cons

      Depending upon your supervisor, it can be extremely difficult to get time off with 3-4 weeks notice required, no say in which days you will work, and even though you get 2 days off they may not b back to back, working every weekend is a must, especially sundays

      There is no best reason to work for this company

      Cons

      Work is endless process and you work more than 10 hrs a day. They only want you to work and don't live your life
