Pros

Great associates and long lasting friendships. They’re all about promoting inclusion. If you’re LGBTQ, the experience will probably be better.

Cons

Upper management is not good. Benefits are horrible. Say bye to 60% of your paycheck. Prices are astronomical and continue to rise. $150 for a wellness exam in the heart of Philadelphia is comical.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for the many years you spent at VCA. We’re glad to hear you found strong relationships with colleagues and experienced an inclusive environment—creating a workplace where people feel they belong is important to us. We recognize the concerns raised around leadership and benefits. As part of Mars Veterinary Health, Mars is investing $500 million to further enhance Associate health and wellbeing, including access to 12 company‑paid Lyra mental health sessions each year and resources available through MVH4You.com. VCA also offers the largest education program in the industry and continues to invest in leadership training and development to strengthen support across our hospitals. Feedback like this is shared with leadership and helps inform how we continue evolving the Associate experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
