Pros

Holiday pay, benefits, room for growth if interested.

Cons

Depending on how the clinic does is depending if you get your hours cut, everything has to be approved through higher ups and nothing serious gets really taken care of unless it has to do with money.

Perpetually Understaffed

Pros

Pet benefits are great At my hospital the people I work with are amazing and make for a great environment. However, this is not true at every hospital.

Cons

Pay is horrible, health benefits are sub-par. Since we are always understaffed we are always overworked and underpaid. We can't seem to hire anyone, but it's not surprising when every other clinic in the area is offering better pay and starting bonuses. I could get raise by moving to a different clinic. To be entirely honest, I could be paid more by working at Rite Aid. My reason for staying is I love my job and the people I work with, and am lucky enough to have a spouse with a job that can pay the bills, because I can't.

Pros

Average benefits, some corporate perks,

Cons

Management tries to lowball on salary with the carrot of commission based on production. This would be fine if they would eliminate inherant bias in scheduling and NOT endorse negative accrual especially when it come to taking advantage of if He benefits such as time off for CE and earned vacation. So much emphasis on production then penalized for taking time off that is part of your supposed benefits "Paid vaccation" is definitely misleading and unethical when negative accrual is enforsed.
