Pros

The neurology residency PD is very passionate about resident education and is constantly trying to improve the experience for us. My fellow residents are excellent and fun to work with, as are all of the attendings. Most major sub-specialties are represented.

Cons

1)VCUHS does not have a chairman (the residency director is the interim chair, and with a full clinical schedule he does a great job despite being spread very thin) 2)The program is very inpt heavy. There are not enough residents to handle the high (and growing) patient volume.

Pros

State of the art CT equipment. Great place for learning and gaining experience. Loved my co-workers. Enjoyed working with Radiology Residents.

Cons

Overworked and severely underpaid. The worst management I've worked with in 21 years! No support and unfair treatment. Poor self insurance, you will pay thru the nose to be seen at another hospital. $ 100 a month for parking.
