Pros

Get to work with big name clients.

Cons

The management do not know what they are doing. The business equivalent of being drunk at the wheel. There is a culture of employes undermining each other, which is driven from the management. People will try to screw you to get ahead. If you're reading this, you're probably creative. Get a job a a company which encourages COLLABORATION, not COMPETITION. You'll do a lot better at ANY OTHER AGENCY.

Pros

- The hiring and interview process was painless - Pay fairly competitive (however I didn't receive nearly enough for moving out to New York to work for them) - Management is personal and friendly - If you go above and beyond your actions won't go unnoticed

Cons

Management has had growing pains in the process of the New York side of VSA. It should settle in a year or two, but a lot is up in the air. If you do work for VSA in New York expect to likely to do work for one client majority of the time. There is not nearly as strong of a community in the company in New York as there is in Chicago and the design community in VSA is non-existant. Which is quite sad for a company that does really good work and focuses a lot on design. With so much going on and focusing on pleasing the clients, burnouts are bound to happen and promises bumped along.
