Pros

No pros yet. Employees have been left in the dark about everything.

Cons

The transition stemming from Valiant's acquisition of Cubic Global Defense has been extremely rocky. The new fiscal year began October 1st and since Valiant can't seem to get their IT transitions under control they are not cutting paychecks in the proper amounts to their employees and they won't give a date as to when full paychecks will be disbursed or whether any backpay will occur. With Cubic, we had an astounding amount of Paid Time Off and all Valiant has to say about continuing the Cubic PTO policies is that :"Valiant and Cubic have different PTO policies and we will do our best to integrate the two...". As employees we have been left in the dark in regards to how these leave policies will change and won't know until January 1st when they take effect. Open enrollment for healthcare and other benefits opens in less than two weeks and we as employees also have no clue what to expect (premium increases, insurer changes, retirement plan changes).

Thank you very much for the feedback. We understand the transition of benefits and other programs were difficult through the transition. We have made many great changes over the last year, and hopefully you saw improvement in the Open Enrollment process. We will hold Open Enrollment annually for two weeks in the fall so look for communications relating to the process during that time. If you need any assistance feel free to reach out to the People Resources Benefits Team.

Pros

Paycheck makes it on time.

Cons

Where to begin... Zero consideration for employees. Trying to manage a contract with half the employees needed to succeed. Resulting in burning out the few good employees they had. Everyone is jumping off this sinking ship. Insurance sucks but that is due to SCA guidelines so can't rally blame Valiant for that.

True definition of favoritism

Pros

Steady paycheck, managements at the state side are awesome and willing to help

Cons

My PERSONAL opinion. If you got a job offer oversea , you will get ganged up by your colleagues and management. they sure play big role in favoritism, you don't get a fair shot to prove your self and higher up management , have a lack of leadership and understanding the need of a linguist . Local company take care of their employee and empower their employees to do the right thing and reach their potential. On the other h management oversea are very judgmental and quick to fire someone unless you are a part of their click ! Integrity, pride and leadership is out of the window . Differently no room for career development there .
