Work can be intense at times, but it ultimately works itself out.

Despite how much I like the work itself I wanted to write a review to highlight how big a problem the insurance benefits have been. This is by far the worst insurance I have ever had and I would not have accepted the position if I had known how hard it was going to be to get my daughter’s medication. This was the first job I accepted which did not provide insurance coverage on day one and that was only because I didn’t think to ask in the interview. I wasn’t told this would be the case until my official offer letter came in, by which time I had already quit my job (I jumped the gun because of how excited I was) Now that we are covered though I’m running into problem after problem with the Pharmacy Benefits Management company used by the insurance—OptumRX. The health insurance requires all pharmaceutical issues to go through Optum and you can only use Walgreens or OptumRX’s mail order service. Both of these pharmacies have incredibly low reviews online and my experience with that has been genuinely shocking. I don’t know what the point of working is if my family can’t get the medicine they need.
