I had the opportunity to go through Vallen's Sales and Operations Development program and then transition in to a full time sales role. It was a great opportunity to go through the program right out of college and gain an understanding of the different departments of the company. It was really beneficial to experience this before moving in to a sales role. I have always felt that there are plenty of opportunities for growth and advancement if you desire and everyone I have worked with is dedicated and wants to help you move up within the company. Whether or not you go through the training program, this is a great opportunity for anyone and any level in your career. Vallen is an leader in the distribution industry and is always looking for ways to improve.

Cons

At this point in time I personally have not experienced any downsides to working at Vallen.

Management has problems. Not sure what they want to be when they grow up. Reports are many and redundant. Commission structure keeps being reduced
