Pros

Intense and focused training as there is so many aspects of the company to learn. I have truly enjoyed and embraced every learning opportunity and experience. You will be rewarded if you are motivated, hard working, dedicated and innovative individual. As we are constantly changing and growing, there are always new positions available and learning opportunities arise - if you are into that sorta thing. :)

Cons

Communication is key as there are so many wheels turning, decisions being made, and we are a very fast paced community. Make sure you cross your T's and keep everyone up to date that may pertain to your role and you will be set.

Pros

If you're looking for a place to gain experience, Valley Forge will provide that. They're leaders in the fabric textile hospitality worldwide and they're not going anywhere. They're taking their growth to new terrain and have excellent work/life balance. They even allow children to be in the building during office hours. They're extremely into making their employees happy.

Cons

There is a glass ceiling unless you're thinking of staying in the fabric textile industry.

Pros

The building is fun and activities are held often to boost the energy.

Cons

Communication throughout the company is degrading and disrespectful. Even meetings between managers and directors shows there is no respect for one another. Certain departments are worse than others with the team leaders making employees feel uncomfortable to approach them. Directors and managers have been heard yelling at employees and when issues are raised with HR, nothing happens or the employee endures consequences. It is common to hear from employees that have left Valley Forge, willingly or unwillingly, say they have never experienced an environment as toxic/hostile as Valley Forge.

I am truly sorry to hear that you feel this way. Both Diana and I have an open door policy to us, and even our partitions are glass, so we can always be seen. If you are comfortable, in the near or far future, please feel free to come and see me, or encourage anyone to come and see either of us. Our goal is collaboration and leadership that listens, but of course, at the same time, in a professional way, has a high bar for themselves, and all team members, and holds themselves and others accountable to do great things.
