Pros

Middle management is very good, open communication and takes employees wishes into consideration. Coworkers are very sharp and it is a good place to learn and grow technically.

Cons

Sometimes upper management makes large blunders that affect the whole company. Seems to be getting better. Also sometimes you may be loaned out to other companies to pay the bills.

Pros

It's a job with competitive pay. There are still some bright, intelligent people left that you may (or may not) get to work with.

Cons

Things started to take a significant slide downward after merging with Adea. Management is unresponsive and uncommunicative. There was a failure to promptly and adequately communicate the lose of the contract with the client. Further, when problems arose, emails and phone calls would go unanswered for days or weeks at a time. HR is also unresponsive to HR-related issues. After the Adea merge, there was an abrupt and sudden change in the time of policy. Vacation time was decreased by one week and constraining requirements were added to how and when time could be taken off. The worse part is, with the change came a new time tracking system. Vacation time from the old system was not transferred to the new system properly and this impacted *lots* of people. *Nine* months later, the issue is still unresolved. How the HR department is ran is unprofessional and quite possibly running things illegally. As it stands now, I am still waiting on my final paycheck (it's a week overdue). Due to the unresolved vacation time issues, the paycheck is significantly less than it should be (about 60 hours difference!) If you're willing to work for a place that is unapologetic about the bottom line being more important than employees, than this is your place.
