Pros

Valtech offered great benefits, a flexible schedule, and a collaborative team environment. The remote work policy was a strong advantage.

Cons

Following major acquisitions, significant layoffs occurred without clear regard for seniority or talent, appearing to be driven primarily by cost-cutting. The process created instability and uncertainty for many employees.

Pros

It was a job. I learned some valuable skills during my time there. I had the opportunity to work with some talented teammates.

Cons

I was laid off with no notice. My final paycheck was delayed by over a month. My severance was also delayed for more than a month, and I had to be in constant back-and-forth with them for a month and a half just to get it processed correctly. They completely messed up my taxes, resulting in me owing over $13,000 due to incorrect reporting. And I'm still having to resolve this to this day. When I filed for unemployment, the state had no record of me working there because Valtech never reported my employment. I had to manually send every single pay stub myself. The entire layoff process was messy, frustrating, and handled with zero care. After all of this, they had the audacity to ask me back for contract work SIX MONTHS AFTER part-time, at half my original salary, with no benefits.
