Pros

It was a first rate company. Client focus and employee focus, wanting the best for all.

Cons

In the later years the company cared less about the employees and the service suffered because of it. Vanguard can't keep up with the demands of clients and seems like they don't really care. Management seems to promote inexperienced people who don't know how to manage. Inept people in management positions who don't have that real care about clients.

Pros

Excellent benefits - we were able to pick what benefits we wanted from an available list such as different levels of medical, dental, vision, free access to a lawyer for the year, an extra week of vacation in addition to the 4 weeks accumulated after 5 years of service and 6 personal days to be used however we wanted.

Cons

Take home salary was average or below according to industry standards - no commissions.
