      Pros

      Client focussed, very flexible working arrangements available with excellent work-life balance, study sponsorship and access to senior management.

      Cons

      Base salary is below rest of market, a who you know rather than what you know approach to career progression. High staff turnover.

      Pros

      Good Place to start a career. Nice surrounding area. Good leadership programs. Pleanty of vacation days. Not overly competitive work environment.

      Cons

      Salarie and bonuses are much less at Vanguard but the pressure to perform is proportional. You wont run into many hard to replace workers since its the system itself that is hard to replicate.

      Pros

      Very good benefits package, generous tuition reimbursement. Ethical and honest company. What you see is what you get. Thorough training program. Beautiful campus, outstanding dual-screen technology, a free library with investment books. Opportunities to develop yourself and participate in finance classes and other trainings at Vanguard's expense. Ample overtime opportunity, especially during tax time.

      Cons

      Easy to get pigeonholed into a role. Difficult to get promoted from some entry level positions. Salaries relatively low for the industry. Performance standards can be grueling. Management team works employees very hard for a mediocre salary.
